Bring Back My Angel
Take me to the river and listen to me drown
Drown me in my sorrow and my misery
Left me standing lonely with nowhere else to go
I'm the only faithful man you'll ever know

Ever since I met you and swept you off your feet
I'd been all to you that I could ever be
Don't forget who left me for another man
Now it's time I take my troubles on the road

Bring back my angel - bring back the one I love
Come back my angel - and bring back the stars

I woke up this morning to an empty bed
Your pillow bringing back a flood of memories
A prisoner of passion, an angel at my feet
And I lost it all to someone in the end

Bring back my angel - bring back the one I love
Come back my angel - and bring back the stars

You kept me guessing all the time
Keeping all things inside with nothing left to hide
I called your name - hoping - but no one was there
And no one is here for me now

The evening is upon me with darkness setting in
Heal my wounds and wake up to another day
Walk me in the sunshine to a better life
And give up the past for I'm alone again

Bring back my angel - bring back the one I love
Come back my angel - and bring back the stars

Bring back my angel - bring back the one I love
And bring back the stars
